Many Thanks to our Marines and service men & women serving in the military in the past, present & future.
 My son, Matt Soldano, was stationed in Iraq in 2005. He and the rest of the members of his battalion are home safe. I would like to honor all the men and women in our armed services who risk their lives for our country. If you would like to support our troops by way of letters, cards and packages It would be wonderful. I am trying to reach out and get homemade goodies, small , and small tokens to send to them .

(This letter was e-mailed to me from one of the other troops I put in my "Operation Outreach" it was from 2/2009 and I thought you would like to read it.
Hello Lori,
I am deployed again (3rd time in 4 years) This time I'm in Afghanistan. WE got a whole bunch of people over here, that love getting goodies, and wouldnt mind at all getting some more  Right now I'm travling so I cant really tell you what everybody else likes... But personally my favorite things to eat right now are beef jerky, oatmeal (LOVE PECAN Cinnamon, and dont have it here  ), Of course home made coolkies are probably the favorites for everybody. Um...just about anything. WE really dont need anything, so its really just what people want to send. Oh yea, I also love getting letters from kids, they always make me laugh...and I promise to write back

Financing Your Home >Who Pays the Points When home buyers shop for financing, they must consider two important factors--the interest rate and the points. Each point is equal to one percent of the mortgage amount. If you are selling a home, the buyers may ask you to share the points with them.
The buyer usually pays the points. But if the offer is attractive and will give you the amount you want, paying one or more points might be a good idea. When a contract is presented, your real estate agent will go over the price and terms to help you calculate the net price you will receive. If the offer isn't strong enough or has risky contingencies, you might make a counter offer to increase your profit on the sale by eliminating the points from your selling costs or by increasing the price to help you absorb additional costs you will pay.
In some cases, buyers with limited cash may need some assistance from the sellers to make the transaction work. Your real estate agent will help you look at the total picture and the buyer's overall qualifications, so that you can make a decision based on the bottom line.
